Fushen Hot Pot

I think a lot more people need to support local businesses and small chain things. This was definitely a locally owned restaurant and I think that that is very important. If you come here do not expect that it will be one of those K-pot places. They had really fresh food overall. A lot of the things were frozen that when cooked you wouldn't be able to tell if there was no freezer burn. They don't have as many options as some of the other places but overall there was enough to be filling with a lot of options. I think everyone should try here.

Wow first off, let me just say that the place is very clean. The staff is so nice. The people are so so sweet super friendly. The food is delicious. I love that they have vegan vegetarian options but my wife and I left there so impressed. I’ll include some photos highly recommend this place. We drove over an hour away just to experience this. I love this place. Really the people are so kind and the food is delicious

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lady that served us (Ana) along with a very clean and organized seating area. Ana was great from the start and explained to us how we should order and that it is “All you can eat”. To start you must select the amount of people at your party and whether they are children or adults. Then you select the soup base you would like and then from there you can order all the ingredients for the hot pot. The meats come in a big plate full to the brim so be mindful of how many plates you order, there is also a huge selection of sauces for your hot pot. Drinks are also included with the fixed price and you can get refills for no cost. You can continue to order more items throughout your meal time. The selection is pretty good and they will keep adding more items as time goes by. We ate as much as we wanted and until we were satisfied. To complete this wonderful meal they had a good variety of ice creams to choose from. Ana our sever did a great job checking in on us, refilling our soup and bringing us more items while we ordered, she was very friendly and kind. I would also like to mention that they had a very clean and hygienic bathroom. I absolutely would highly recommend this hot pot!

Staff is nice and accommodating. The beauty (and curse) of hot pot is that it's kind of up to you how good the meal is.My advice? 1) Go heavier than you'd think with seasonings and 2) Add vegetables first (it adds flavor to the broth--and, more importantly, they take longer to cook). The meat takes practically no time to cook, but you also don't have to be in a hurry to eat it.You've got two hours. Enjoy it.

Loved this restaurant. Food was great and so fresh. It's all you can eat and you order from the online menu. There is an extra charge if you order too much and don't eat it all. You can add more things that you need. Staff was friendly and food came out very quickly. There is a huge sauce bar where you make your sauce. They have little individual hot pots with different soup bases. I would more than recommend and we will return.

My husband and I found this little gem a few weeks ago and have already come three times. We moved from Philly, where there were lots of options, and are so glad to have found Fushen! Clean, fresh, friendly and all you can eat! The atmosphere feels more like a house than a restaurant, but we love it. Definitely give it a try!

Hidden gem , hole in the wall!! This is not your typical hot pot, this is a family owned small business. We did not expect to find an authentic hot pot restaurant in Middletown. The food and broth was Fantastic and so was the service. The hot pot broth was fresh & authentic, and not salty. They had a variety of fresh meats and veggies. The sauce station had my favorite sauces , made daily. They had everything from peanut sauce , hot spicy chili, sesame paste. Most importantly , they kept the sauce station very clean and organized. Highly recommend !
